Headlamp Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Unscrew tilt lock lever counterclockwise and remove.
3. Remove three lower steering column cover screws, then cover.
4. Remove ignition lock cylinder.
5. Remove upper steering column cover.
6. Remove two combination switch screws.
7. Disconnect two switch electrical connectors, then remove switch.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Torque tilt wheel handle and shank to 35-44 inch lbs.
