QT10 Perform HO2S Monitor Test

- Follow one of the following test procedures based on the method used:

- If using NGS Scan Tool:
- Refer to HO2S Pinpoint Test. Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)

- If using MIL:
- Perform the Diagnostic Test Mode procedure. Refer to QT 4. QT4 Perform Diagnostic Test Mode (Extracting Codes)
- Turn the key OFF, immediately start the engine.
- Run the engine off idle (1000-2000 rpm) for 2 minutes.
- The MIL will go on and off more than 5 times every 10 seconds.

- Does the MIL go on and off more than 5 times every 10 seconds?

YES -- Go to QT 11. QT11 Perform Component Verification Test


NO -- Go to HO2S Pinpoint Test. Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)
