A7 Check Wire Between Instrument Panel and Control Module

- Key OFF.

- Connect the Breakout Box with Adapter to the antilock brake control module connector. Leave the antilock brake control module disconnected.

- Disconnect the black 12-pin conventional instrument cluster connector or the 20-pin electronic instrument cluster connector.

- Measure the resistance of the "Y/R" wire between the Breakout Box Pin 17 and the black 12-pin conventional instrument cluster connector or the 20-pin electronic instrument cluster connector.

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Go to A8. A8 Check Wire Between Instrument Panel and Hydraulic Actuator

NO -- Service the "Y/R" wire.
