B5 Check For Shorts to Ground

^ Key OFF.

^ Remove the 10A Relays fuse and the 65A Radiator Fan fuse.

^ Remove the low fan control relay, the high fan control relay 1 and the high fan control relay 2 from the main relay panel.

^ Measure the resistance of the RH terminal of 65A radiator fan fuse holder (terminal nearest to radiator coolant recovery reservoir) and ground.

^ Measure the resistance of the RH terminal of the 10A relays fuse holder and ground.

^ Are the resistances less than 5 ohms?

YES -- Service the wire(s) in question.

NO -- Replace the 10A Relays fuse and/or the 65A Radiator Fan fuse. Go to B6. B6 Check Engine Cooling Fan Motor
