E2 Check High Fan Control Relay

^ Key OFF.

^ Remove high fan control relays 1 and 2.

^ Using a jumper, connect terminal 2 of each high fan control relay to the battery positive terminal.

^ Measure the resistance between terminal 5 and terminal 3 on each of the high fan control relays.

^ Using a jumper, connect terminal 1 of each high fan control relay to the battery negative terminal.

^ Measure the resistance between terminal 5 and terminal 3 on each of the high fan control relays.

^ Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms without the battery negative terminal applied, and less than 5 ohms with the battery negative terminal applied?

YES -- Go to E3. E3 Check Power Supply to High Cooling Fan Cntrl Relays 1 and 2

NO -- Replace the relay in question.
