Installation

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

1. Position the instrument panel to the vehicle.
2. Install the instrument panel upper bolts and tighten to 3.2-4.4 Nm (29-39 lb-in).





3. Install the instrument panel center nut. Tighten the instrument panel center nut to 3.2-4.4 Nm (29-39 lb-in).
4. Connect the two headlamp dimmer sensor control electrical connectors and position the headlamp dimmer sensor control to the instrument panel, it equipped.
5. Install the two headlamp dimmer sensor control screws and tighten, if equipped.





6. Connect the light sensor amplifier electrical connector, it equipped.





7. Install the light sensor amplifier, it equipped.
8. Install the instrument panel upper moulding.





9.Install the windshield side garnish mouldings.
10. Install the console bin to the radio chassis bracket. Install and tighten the four console bin screws.
11. Install the radio chassis.
12. Connect the five climate control assembly electrical connectors.
13. Install the climate control assembly.





14. Install the four climate control assembly screws and tighten.
15. Install the instrument panel ash receptacle.





16. Install the center instrument panel finish panel and center instrument panel finish panel screw. Tighten the center instrument panel finish panel screw to 2-3 Nm (17-26 lb-in).
17. Connect the power outside rear view mirror control electrical connector and install the outside rear view mirror control switch, if equipped.
18. Position the safety belt warning chime and install the two safety belt warning chime bracket screws. Tighten the safety belt warning chime bracket screws.
19. Connect the safety belt warning chime electrical connector.
20. Install the instrument cluster.
21. Install the steering column.
22. Connect the glove compartment lamp electrical connector.
23. Install the glove compartment and the two glove compartment screws. Tighten the glove compartment screws to 2-3 Nm (17-26 lb-in).





24. Install the RH and LH instrument panel screws and tighten to 2.6-3.6 Nm (23-32 lb-in).





25. Install the RH inner duct screw.





26. Install the LH instrument reinforcement. Install the four instrument panel reinforcement bolts. Tighten the LH instrument panel reinforcement bolts to 3.2-4.4 Nm (29-39 lb-in).
27. Install the instrument panel steering column cover, the four instrument panel steering column cover screws and the plastic rivet.





29. Install the plastic rivet, the four instrument panel lower cover screws and the instrument panel lower cover.
30. Install the RH inner kick panel, the two RH inner kick panel screws and the plastic nut. Tighten the RH inner kick panel screws to 2.6-3.6 Nm (23-32 lb-in). Connect the foot lamp electrical connector, if equipped.





31. Install the LH inner kick panel, the two LH inner kick panel screws and the plastic nut. Tighten the LH inner kick panel screws to 2.6-3.6 Nm (23-32 lb-in). Connect the foot lamp electrical connector, if equipped.
32. Install the storage bin and the four plastic storage bin screws.
33. Connect the battery ground cable.
