1. Remove the instrument cluster.

2. Using a jumper, connect the instrument cluster temperature gauge "B" terminal to the battery POSITIVE terminal and the instrument cluster temperature gauge "G" terminal to the battery NEGATIVE terminal.
3. Connect one lead of the Rotunda Instrument Gauge System Tester to the "S" terminal of the instrument cluster temperature gauge and the other lead to the "G" terminal of the instrument cluster temperature gauge.

4. Adjust the instrument gauge system tester to the resistances shown in the illustration.
5. If the instrument cluster temperature gauge does not operate as specified, replace the instrument cluster temperature gauge (part of fuel gauge). If the instrument cluster temperature gauge is OK, return to the Pinpoint Tests.
