Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the Fast Idle Control (FIC) solenoid electrical connector.
2. Disconnect and plug the coolant hose from the IAC-FIC assembly.
3. Disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) solenoid electrical connector.
4. Remove the four Idle Air Control-Fast Idle Control (IAC-FIC) assembly bolts.
5. Remove the IAC-FIC assembly and gasket. Discard the gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. Install a new gasket on the IAC-FIC assembly and position the IAC-FIC assembly on the intake plenum.
2. Install the four IAC-FIC assembly bolts. Tighten the IAC-FIC assembly bolts to 7-8 Nm (61-71 in lb).
3. Connect the Idle Air Control (IAC) solenoid electrical connector.
4. Remove the plug and connect the coolant hose to the IAC-FIC assembly.
5. Connect the Fast Idle Control (FIC) solenoid electrical connector.
