Work Support

NOTE: WORK SUPPORT function is available only on PCM.






1. In the Mode Select Screen, highlight WORK SUPPORT and press TRIGGER. Screen Display E will appear.






2. Turn the menu dial to highlight the item to be adjusted. For example, highlight THROTTLE SENSOR ADJUST and press TRIGGER. Screen Display F will appear.
3. Follow the instructions on Screen Display F to adjust the Throttle Position (TP) sensor signal.






Press TRIGGER to start. An adjustment screen will appear (Screen Display G).






4. Engine rpm, TP sensor voltage, and Idle Switch (IDLE SW) condition are displayed while the throttle sensor is manually positioned.







Press CANCEL to exit back to Screen Display E, where you can highlight IAC VALVE ADJUST and press TRIGGER. IAC VALVE ADJUST Screen Display H will appear.




5. Follow the instructions on Screen Display H to adjust the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. Press TRIGGER to start. An adjustment screen will appear (Screen Display I).






Engine rpm, Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT), TP voltage, Air-Conditioner Switch (AC SW) signal, and IDLE SW condition are displayed. The IAC valve setting is held at 0%, while the IAC valve is manually positioned for the proper engine rpm.







Press CANCEL to exit to Screen Display E, where you can select THROTTLE SENSOR ADJUST if needed. Press CANCEL again to exit to Mode Select Screen.
