BPA5 - Check FIC Solenoid Function

^ Disconnect the FIC solenoid connector.

Function Test:

^ Apply 12 volts and ground to the FIC solenoid terminals as shown in image.

^ Check for a clicking sound.

^ Is there a clicking sound when applying 12 volts and ground to the solenoid connector terminals?

YES -- RETURN to the Diagnostic Routines. Diagnostic Routines Index

NO -- REPLACE the IAC-FIC assembly.
