FA6 Check For Short(s)

^ Key OFF.

^ Remove the fuel pump relay from the LH engine compartment relay block.

^ Disconnect the PCM, the fuel pump wire harness connector and the Bypass Air (BPA) valve wire harness connector.

^ Measure the resistance between the "LG/R" wire and ground, and the "BL/R" wire and ground at the fuel pump relay connector.

^ Are the resistances greater than 10,000 ohms?

NOTE: Check the inertia fuel shutoff switch for a "tripped" condition. Reset it tripped. Reseting Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) Switch

YES -- REPLACE the PCM.

NO -- SERVICE the wire(s) in question for short.
