REMOVAL

1. Raise and support the vehicle.






2. Remove the rear brake antilock sensor bolt.

3. Remove the rear brake antilock sensor from the brake backing plate.

Remove Rear Brake Anti0Lock Sensor Cable:

4. Remove the rear brake antilock sensor cable-to-rear axle housing bracket bolt and bracket from the rear axle housing.

Remove Rear Anti-Lock Sensor Cable-To-Body Bracket Bolt:

5. Remove the rear brake antilock sensor cable-to-body bracket bolt.

Rear Brake Anti-Lock Sensor Electrical Connector:

6. Disconnect the rear brake antilock sensor electrical connector.

7. Slide the rear brake antilock sensor from its retaining clips and remove the rear brake antilock sensor from the vehicle.


INSTALLATION

1. Position the rear brake antilock sensor on the vehicle in the retaining clips.

2. Connect the rear brake antilock sensor electrical connector.

3. Position the brake antilock sensor cable-to-body bracket on the vehicle. Install the brake antilock sensor cable-to-body bracket bolt. Tighten the brake antilock sensor cable-to-body bracket bolt to 10 N-m (88 lb-in).

4. Position the rear brake antilock sensor cable-to-rear axle housing bracket on the rear axle housing. Install the brake antilock sensor cable-to-rear axle housing bracket bolt. Tighten the brake antilock sensor cable-to-rear axle housing bracket bolt to 10 N-m (88 lb-in).

CAUTION: Do not force the rear brake antilock sensor into the mounting hole.

5. Position the rear brake antilock sensor on the brake backing plate. Install the brake antilock sensor bolt. Tighten the brake antilock sensor bolt to 11-15 N-m (124-133 lb-in).

6. Lower the vehicle.
