Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Pull ashtray assembly rearward to remove.
2. Remove control console bezel screw, then bezel.
3. Remove climate control panel screws, then panel.
4. Remove four radio screws.
5. Pull radio assembly rearward, then disconnect radio electrical connectors and antenna cables.
6. Remove eight radio to bracket screws, then radio from bracket.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque radio to bracket screws to 17 inch lbs.
b. Torque radio screws to 17 inch lbs.
c. Torque climate control panel screws to 17 inch lbs.
d. Torque control console bezel screws to 16-24 inch lbs.
