Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify customer concern by operating the electronic automatic temperature control to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Refrigerant leakage
- Damaged or loose accessory drive belt
- Damaged A/C compressor
- Damaged A/C clutch pulley
- Damaged refrigerant (2) hose(s)
- Stuck or binding actuator mechanisms
- Stuck or binding mode doors and linkages
- Damaged ducts

Electrical
- Blown fuse(s): 7.5A A/C CONT, 10A RELAYS, 10A ELECTRON BAT, 20A FRONT BLOWER (2), 30A IGN SW, 65A FRT BLWR
- Damaged or corroded front [1][2]blower motor relay
- Damaged or corroded AIR CON relay
- Damaged front blower motor

3. If inspection reveals obvious concerns that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If fault is not visually evident, proceed by performing the EATC System Self Test. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
