Throttle Position Sensor

DESCRIPTION
The Throttle Position (TP) Sensor is a variable resistor located on the throttle body. The TP sensor detects the opening of the throttle and sends this information to the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The TCM uses this information to control transaxle shifting, lockup, and line pressure.
