Electronic Door Lock Control System

The electronic door lock system has four main components:
^ Remote anti-theft personality module attached to the rear left hand quarter panel.
^ Antenna, PIA to the wiring harness.
^ Three-button (hand held) keyless entry remote transmitter.
^ Keyless entry keypad on the driver side door.

The door locks are controlled by the RAP module through three external relays located in the relay box on the rear LH quarter panel.
^ Driver unlock relay.
^ All unlock relay
^ All lock relay.

The keyless entry remote transmitter initiates the these electronic door lock system functions:
^ Unlocks the driver door.
Unlocks all doors.
^ Locks all doors.
^ Enables the panic alarm.
^ Issues the interior lamps on (when unlocking) and off (when locking) commands to the generic electronic module.
^ Chirps the horn once when LOCK on keyless entry remote transmitter is pressed twice, and doors are closed.
^ Chirps the horn twice when LOCK on the keyless entry remote transmitter is pressed twice, and any door or the liftgate window is ajar.
^ Deactivates a triggered perimeter alarm.
^ Arms and disarms the anti-theft system. For additional anti-theft system information.
^ Allows up to four keyless entry remote transmitters to be programmed.
