Seat Base

DISASSEMBLY






1. Disconnect the seat base trim.
1. Unclip the inboard J-hook.
2. Unclip the outboard J-hook.
3. Unclip the rear J-hooks.
4. Unclip the front J-hook.







2. Turn the seat base over and remove the cushion.
3. Invert the seat cushion trim.







4. Remove the five trim to cushion side tie-down wire hog rings.







5. Remove the front trim to cushion tie-down wire hog rings.







6. Remove the front seat back pad adjusting hose to flexilator zip tie.
7. Remove the front flexilator to frame springs and the flexilator.







8. Disconnect the wire harness push pins from the seat base.







9. Remove the front seat back pad adjusting pump.
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Remove the front seat back pad adjusting pump, hose, and wire harness.

ASSEMBLY







1. Install the front seat back pad adjusting pump.
1. Install the front seat back pad adjusting pump, hose, and wire harness.
2. Install the bolt.







2. Install the wire harness push pins.
3. Position the flexilator and install the front flexilator to frame springs.







4. Install the front seat back pad adjusting hose to flexilator zip tie.







5. Install the front trim to cushion tie-down wire hog rings.

NOTE: When installing new seat base trim it may be necessary to cut a hole for the front seat back pad adjusting hose. Use the old seat cushion as a guide for the location of the hole.







6. Install the two trim to cushion side tie-down wires.







7. Hook the front J-hook and position the seat cushion.
8. Invert the seat cushion trim.







9. Connect the seat base trim.
1. Hook the front J-hook.
2. Hook the rear J-hook.
3. Hook the outboard J-hook.
4. Hook the inboard J-hook.







10. Insert the front seat back pad adjusting hose into the seat base.

NOTE: When installing new seat base trim it may be necessary to cut a hole for the front seat backpad adjusting hose. Use the old seat cushion as a guide for the location of the hole.







11. Install the front seat inboard pivot bolt.

NOTE: Be sure to install the seat pivot washer between the seat base and the seat back to allow for smooth operation of the seat back.







12. Install the front seat back latch to seat base bolts.







13. Install the front seat cushion side cover.
1. Position the front seat cushion side cover.
2. Connect the front seat back pad adjusting hose.
3. Connect the front set back pad adjusting pump motor electrical connector.
4. Connect the seat control electrical connector.







14. Hook the front seat cushion side cover into the clips.







15. Install the front seat cushion side shield cover screws.







16. Install the front seat track.
1. Position the front seat track.
2. Install the front seat track to seat base bolts. Start at the corner with the round hole and work around the seat base in a horseshoe pattern.







17. Connect the seat motor electrical connector.







18. Install the safety belt buckle slide bar.
1. Position the safety belt buckle slide bar.
2. Install the nut.
3. Install the bolt.
19. Install the seat.
