60 Percent Portion
DISASSEMBLY1. Remove the forty percent seat.
2. Place the seat on a clean workbench.
3. Fully extend the integrated child safety seat safety belts.
^ Use a shop towel and locking grips to keep the safety belt fully extended.
4. Lock the seat into the upright position.
5. Remove the child safety seat.
6. Remove the recliner and latch handles.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Remove the recliner and latch handles.
NOTE: The wire cables in the seat back are not repairable. If they are damaged, the seat back frame must be replaced.
7. Remove the inboard pivot cover.
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Remove the inboard pivot cover.
8. Remove the outboard pivot cover.
9. Remove the inboard safety belt bracket.
1 Remove the bolt.
2 Remove the bracket.
NOTE: Make sure that the spacer from in between the safety belt bracket and the recliner mechanism is retained for use during assembly.
10. Remove the inboard seat base pivot bolt.
11. Remove the outboard seat base pivot bolt.
12. Remove the seat base.
ASSEMBLY
1. Assemble in the reverse order.
