Front Bucket Seats

REMOVAL
1. On 6-way power seat equipped vehicles, position the seat in the full up position.







2. On 6-way power seat equipped vehicles, disconnect the battery ground cable.







3. Remove the rear front seat track bolt covers.







4. Remove the bolts.







5. Remove the slide bar bolt cover plug.







6. Remove bolt.







7. Remove the front seat track to floor bolts.
8. Disconnect the safety belt warning indicator electrical connector.







9. On 6-way power seat equipped vehicles, lean the seat back and disconnect the front seat power feed electrical connector and remove the front seat.

INSTALLATION







1. Position the front seat.
^ On 6-way power seat equipped vehicles, connect the front seat power feed electrical connector.







2. Connect the safety belt warning indicator electrical connector.
3. Install the front seat track to floor bolts.







4. Install the slide bar bolt.







5. Install the slide bar bolt cover plug.







6. Install the rear front seat track bolts.







7. Install the rear front seat track bolt covers.







8. On 6-way power seat equipped vehicles, connect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
