H3 CHECK OUTLET VALVE OPERATION

- Key "off."

- Install EEC IV 60-Pin Breakout Box; leave the ABS electronic control module disconnected. Ensure the correct overlay is used.

- Connect a jumper between the following Breakout Pins:
- LF wheel locks: Pins 19, 26, 40 to Pin 1.
- RF wheel locks: Pins 15, 19, 34 to Pin 1.
- Rear wheels lock: Pins 19, 27, 33 to Pin 1.

- CAUTION: Do not leave the ignition "ON" for more than 30 seconds with the jumper installed.

Press hard on the brake pedal, turn the ignition "ON" and have an assistant try to turn the locking wheel.

Does the wheel turn?

> Yes
Valve is OK.

> No
Replace the hydraulic control unit and bleed the brakes.
