B1 CHECK PARKING BRAKE CABLE

WARNING: THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM MUST BE SHUT OFF PRIOR TO HOISTING, JACKING OR TOWING AN AIR SUSPENSION VEHICLE. THIS CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED BY TURNING OFF THE AIR SUSPENSION SWITCH LOCATED IN THE RH KICK PANEL AREA. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN UNEXPECTED INFLATION OR DEFLATION OF THE AIR SPRINGS WHICH MAY RESULT IN SHIFTING OF THE VEHICLE DURING THESE OPERATIONS.

^ Release the parking brake control.

^ If the vehicle cannot be moved, raise and support it.

^ Release the rear disc brake rotor and disconnect the parking brake rear cable and conduit.

^ Does the parking brake release?

> Yes
Inspect the parking brake for binding. Inspect the parking brake control. Replace any worn or damaged components as necessary.

> No
Repair the worn or damaged rear brake component.
