Headlamp: Adjustments

Headlamp Aimer:

SPECIAL SERVICE TOOLS RECOMMENDED

1. Before starting headlamp assembly adjustment:
^ Check tire inflation.
^ Check that no other load is in the vehicle other than a half tank of gas.
^ Check that the headlamps are clean.
^ Check for proper headlamp operation.
^ Check that the vehicle is on level ground.
^ If vehicle is equipped with air suspension, make sure switch is on.







2. Use Optical Headlamp Aimer to adjust the headlamps.
^ Turn the (A) adjuster screw to adjust the headlamp up or down.
^ Turn the (B) adjuster screw to adjust the headlamp left or right.







3. Adjust the headlamps to specifications, located in the lower inboard corner of each headlamp.
