Toe






1. Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
2. Turn the engine off and lock the steering wheel in place.
3. Check the toe settings; follow the manufacturer's instructions.
^ Adjust toe if now within specification.

4. Remove the outer steering gear bellows clamp.

NOTE: Free the steering gear bellows from the front wheel spindle tie rod before attempting to adjust toe. Do not allow the steering gear bellows to twist when the front wheel spindle tie rod is rotated.





5. Loosen the toe set jam nuts.





6. Rotate the front wheel spindle tie rod.

NOTE: Whenever the toe set jam nuts are loosened for toe adjustment, the nut and tie rod threads must be cleaned and lubricated.





7. Tighten the toe set jam nut.
8. Install the outer steering Rear bellows clamp.
