Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL


1. Perform fuel pressure Release procedures.






2. Remove the fuel filter.
1 Remove the redundant clips.
2 Refer to tools and equipment, then use Fuel Line Coupler Disconnect Tool Set to disconnect the fuel filter from the fuel lines.
3 Remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter support.

INSTALLATION






1. Install the fuel filter.

NOTE: Push the fuel lines onto the fuel filter until a definite click is heard, then pull back on the connectors to insure they are properly engaged.

1 Position the fuel filter in the fuel filter support.
2 Install the fuel lines.
3 Install the redundant clips.
