NOTES AND CAUTIONS

O-ring INSTALLATION: Use O-rings made of fuel resistant material. Use of incorrect O-rings may result in fuel leakage. Do not reuse O-rings.

THROTTLE BODY: If scraping is necessary to remove gasket material, be sure not to damage the gasket surfaces of the intake manifold or the throttle body.

Do not clean inside the throttle body or adjust the hard stop screw. Special coating on the throttle plate and bore.

CAUTION: The throttle body uses a sealant / coating covering the throttle bore and throttle plate that make the throttle body tolerant to engine intake sludge accumulation. There is a yellow / black attention decal on the throttle body stating that the throttle body should not be cleaned.
