Child Restraint: Service and Repair

REMOVAL






1. Open the child safety seat.






2. Pull the seat backing down away from the blow mold.







3. Disconnect the child safety belt.
1 Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the bolts.
2 Remove the child safety belt.






4. Disconnect the blow mold.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Disconnect the blow mold.






5. Remove the child safety belt retractor.
1 Remove the nut.
2 Remove safety belt retractor.

INSTALLATION






1. Install the child safety belt retractor.


2. Feed the webbing through the seat.






3. Index the seat belt webbing anchor.






4. Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit and install the bolts.






5. Install the screws.






6. Install the seat backing to the blow mold.

7. Check for proper operation.
