Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the RH front wheel and tire assembly.
4. Remove the four inner fender finish trim screws.
5. Remove the five push pins. Use a screwdriver to push in the center of the push pin and then pull the push pin out.
6. Remove the eight front fender splash shield screws.
7. Pull away the front fender splash shield to access the electric antenna assembly.
8. Remove the radio antenna nut and radio antenna bezel.
9. Pull off the RH front door scuff plate.
10. Pull off the RH cowl side trim panel.
11. Remove the RH instrument panel lower cover and the RH instrument panel lower reinforcement.
NOTE: Attach a piece of mechanic's wire to the electrical connector and electric antenna lead in cable before removing the electric antenna assembly. During installation, use the wire to pull the electric antenna electrical connector and the electric antenna lead in cable through the front fender.
12. Disconnect the electric antenna electrical connector.
13. Disconnect the electric antenna lead in cable.
14. Remove the electric antenna bracket bolt located in the wheel well.
15. Remove the rubber grommet and pull the electric antenna lead in cable and electric antenna electrical connector through the front fender.
16. Remove the electric antenna assembly.
