Fixed Mast
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the RH front wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the four inner fender finish trim screws and the inner fender finish trim.
4. Remove the five push pins. Use a screwdriver and push in the center of the push pin and then pull the push pin out.
5. Remove the eight front fender splash shield screws.
6. Pull away the front fender splash shield to access the fixed antenna assembly.
7. Remove the fixed antenna bracket bolt.
8. Remove the radio antenna mast.
9. Use a suitable tool to remove the radio antenna nut. Lift off the radio antenna bezel.
10. Remove the rubber grommet from the fixed antenna lead in cable.
11. Disconnect the fixed antenna lead in cable from the fixed antenna assembly.
12. Pull the fixed antenna assembly from the front fender.
Installation
1. Place the rubber grommet on the fixed antenna lead in cable.
2. Connect the fixed antenna lead in cable to the fixed antenna assembly.
3. Install the fixed antenna assembly onto the front fender.
4. Install the fixed antenna bracket bolt. Tighten the fixed antenna bracket bolt to 6-7 Nm (54-61 lb.in.).
5. Install the radio antenna bezel and radio antenna nut. Tighten the radio antenna nut to 4-6 Nm (35-53 lb.in.).
6. Insert and tighten the radio antenna mast.
7. Position the front fender splash shield then install the five push pins. Push the center tab out to install, and then push the tab in to lock into place.
NOTE: Ensure that the wheel well insulator screw anchors are positioned properly.
8. Install and tighten the eight front fender splash shield screws.
9. Install the inner fender finish trim and securely tighten the inner fender finish trim screws.
10. Install the RH front wheel and tire assembly. Tighten the lug nuts to 98-118 Nm (72-87 lb.ft.).
11. Lower the vehicle.
