Fold-Down Rear Seat
The rear seat allows three-passenger seating. The rear seat can be moved to one of five different positions. Three positions are for seating and two are storage positions for different cargo requirements.
The rear seat can be moved to the different locking positions by lifting the rear seat track adjusting handle.
The rear seat cushion must be latched in the upward folded position to use the rear seat track adjusting handle. The rear seat back latch assembly has an arm that attaches to a roller release cam on the right side of the rear seat cushion frame. A rear seat back latch cable connects the right roller release cam to a second roller release cam on the left side of the seat frame. The rear seat cushion frame is mounted to rear seat roller assemblies that slide along rear seat tracks that are bolted to the vehicle floor. The seat cushion can only be lowered to a seating position and not to a storage position. The rear seat back pivot allows the seat back to recline or fold completely forward to utilize the drink holders and tray on the rear seat back panel. The rear seat back pivot is located on the right outboard side of the seat.
