Fore And Aft

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front seat and front seat adjuster from the vehicle as an assembly.
2. Place the front seat upside down on a clean, sturdy workbench.
3. If servicing the driver seat. remove the seat height transmission.







4. Remove the roll pin that holds the fore and aft transmission to the front seat adjuster bracket.







5. Remove the Torx (R) T40 seat track-to-front seat adjuster bolt from the rear of the front seat track.
6. Slide the front seat track and fore and aft transmission backward and remove the seat track-to-front seat adjuster Torx (R) T40 bolt from the front of the front seat track.
7. Disengage the fore and aft transmission cable.
8. Remove the front seat track and fore and aft transmission assembly from the front seat adjuster.
9. Turn the front seat track and fore and aft transmission upside down on the bench.
10. Rotate the worm shaft and extend the fore and aft transmission enough to clear the end of the front seat track.







11. Tilt the fore and aft transmission up and remove it from the bracket on the front seat track.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert the fore and aft transmission in the bracket on the front seat track.
2. Position the seat track and fore and aft transmission on the front seat adjuster.
3. Install the Torx (R) T4O seat track-to-front seat adjuster bolts.
4. Engage the fore and aft transmission cable.







5. Rotate the worm shaft until the fore and aft transmission aligns with the front seat adjuster bracket.
6. Install the roll pin that holds the fore and aft transmission to the front seat adjuster bracket.
7. If servicing the driver seat, install the seat height transmission.
8. Install the front seat and front seat track assembly.
