Inner Rotor Ridge-to-Oil Pump Body Clearance

Inner Rotor Ridge Measurement:

Measure the inner rotor ridge (A).

Oil Pump Body Bore Measurement:

Measure the oil pump body (B).

Subtract the inner rotor ridge measurement (A) from the oil pump body measurement (B) to get the inner rotor ridge-to-oil pump body clearance.

The inner rotor ridge-to-oil pump body clearance should be 0.045-0.091 mm (0.0018-0.0036 inch).

If the measurement is above the clearance specification replace the oil pump.
