Manual A/C-Heater

1. Verify customer concern by operating the climate control system.
2. Visually inspect the components of the climate control system.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Refrigerant leakage
^ Damaged or loose accessory drive belt
^ Damaged A/C compressor
^ Damaged A/C clutch pulley
^ Damaged refrigerant (2) hose(s)
^ Stuck or binding actuator mechanisms
^ Stuck or binding mode doors and linkages
^ Damaged ducts

Electrical
^ Blown fuse(s): - 10A RELAYS, 7.5A A/C CONT, 30A IGN SW, 20A FRONT BLOWER (2), 10A ELECTRON BAT
^ Damaged front climate control assembly (without EATC)
^ Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) (if equipped)
^ Damaged wiring harness
^ Damaged or corroded front [1][2]blower motor relay
^ Damaged or corroded front blower motor resistor
^ Damaged front blower motor
^ Damaged actuators
^ Damaged connectors
^ Corroded or poor connections

3. Check the accessory drive belt for wear, fray, glazed appearance, and improper tension.
4. Check for damage to the A/C compressor and the A/C clutch pulley.
5. Check the wiring harness for signs of shorts, opens, bad connections, or damage.
6. If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Manual A/C-Heater
