Dome Lamp: Description and Operation

The front and rear dome lamps illuminate when either of the front doors or the body side door is opened and dim to off when all the doors are closed. If a door is left open, a timer module will dim to off the dome lamps after approximately 30 minutes.

Both of the dome lamp switches have three positions. The function of each position is:
- OFF: The dome lamp does not illuminate, even when any door is open.
- ON: The dome lamp illuminates even when all doors are closed.
- DOOR (center position): The dome lamp illuminates when a door is opened. When the door is closed, the lamp will slowly dim to off over approximately 10 seconds.
