Headlamp: Adjustments

NOTE: All headlamp adjustments should be made with the fuel tank approximately half full, the vehicle unloaded, and the spare tire and jack in their proper stowage positions. Make sure all tires are inflated to their recommended pressure.

1. Install the aimers on the headlamps. Adjust each headlamp following the instructions contained in the kit.

NOTE: The equipment in Rotunda Optical Headlamp Aimer 196-00001 or equivalent can be calibrated to accommodate a slight slope in the floor, making it usable almost any place in the shop.

2. Adjust the headlamps with the adjustment bolts. The outer headlamp adjustment bolt on each headlamp adjusts the headlamp up and down. The inner headlamp adjustment bolt on each headlamp adjusts the headlamp side to side.
