With Autolamps

1. Verify customer concern by operating the autolamps.
2. Visually inspect the components of the autolamp system.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Covered photo translator

Electrical
- Blown fuse(s):
- 7.5 A A/C CONT
- 15 A H/L LH
- 15 A H/L RH
- 100 A MAIN
- Damaged autolamp switch
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connections
- Defective autolamp module

3. Verify that the headlamp system is working properly. If the headlamp system is not working properly refer to the procedures to diagnose the system. Symptom Chart(s)
4. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens. bad connections or damage.
5. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Chart(s)
