Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify customer concern by operating the horn.
2. Visually inspect the components of the horn system.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical Electrical
- Damaged horn(s) -Blown fuse:
- 15A HORN
-Damaged wiring harness
-Loose or corroded connections
-Damaged or corroded horn relay

3. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections, or damage.
4. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the following Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
