Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify customer concern by operating the turn signal/emergency warning system.
2. Visually inspect the components of the turn signal/emergency warning system.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Damaged multi-function switch
- Damaged hazard warning flasher switch

Electrical
- Blown fuse(s):
- 10 A TURN
- 10 A HAZARD
- Damaged turn signal bulb(s)
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connections
- Damaged indicator flasher

3. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections, or damage.
4. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
