Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tool Set:






SPECIAL SERVICE TO0L(S) REQUIRED

REMOVAL
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Discharge and recover the refrigerant from the A/C system.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.







4. Use a hammer and chisel to remove one rivet head from each of the four rear refrigerant/heater line hold-down brackets.







5. Remove the two bolts from each of the four rear refrigerant/heater line hold-down brackets and remove the brackets.
6. Disconnect the rear heater lines from the main heating system at the engine compartment. Disconnect the heater lines from the rear air conditioning and heating assembly by loosening the clamps.
7. Use A/C Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tool Set T84L-19623-B to disconnect the two A/C tube lock coupling springs at the engine compartment and at the rear air conditioning and heating assembly.
8. Lower the rear refrigerant/heater lines from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the rear refrigerant lines on the vehicle. Join the rear refrigerant lines to the main A/C system by connecting the A/C tube lock coupling springs at the engine compartment. Connect the lines to the rear air conditioning and heating assembly by connecting the rear A/C tube lock coupling springs.
2. Position the rear heater lines on the vehicle. Connect the rear heater lines to the main heater system and to the rear air conditioning and heating assembly. Secure the lines with pipe clamps.
3. Install the four rear refrigerant/heater line hold-down brackets and eight rear refrigerant/heater line hold-down bracket bolts. Tighten the rear refrigerant/heater line hold-down bracket bolts securely.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Evacuate and charge the A/C system.
6. Fill the engine cooling system.
