Clearing Trouble Codes

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CLEARING

NOTE: You must return to User Mode when repairs have been completed to verify the system.

After the system has been repaired, return to the User Mode. Returning to the User Mode will automatically erase any codes from memory which have been resolved.

If the system is not completely repaired, the information stored in the air bag diagnostic monitor's memory will not be erased. If codes are still present, you must return to diagnostics to make additional repairs.

After the system has been repaired and returned to the User Mode, all fault codes will be erased from the air bag diagnostic monitor memory.
