Displaying & Reading Trouble Codes: Overview

Fault codes are read by using the air bag warning indicator in the instrument cluster. There are two different self-diagnosis modes:
- User Mode.
- Diagnosis Mode (Self-Diagnosis Result 1).

The LH front door courtesy lamp switch and ignition switch are used to alternate from one mode to another.
