EGR Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature (EGRT) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the EGRT sensor from the upper intake manifold.

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Tighten the EGRT sensor to 15-25 Nm (11-18 lb-ft).
