Leaf Spring Front Mounting Plate
REMOVAL1. Remove the rear spring.
2. When removing the right side rear spring front mounting plates, remove the muffler resonator assembly.
3. When removing the left side rear spring front mounting plates, remove the fuel tank.
4. Remove the two rear spring front mounting plate nuts.
5. Remove the two rear spring front mounting plate bolts from the rear spring front mounting plates.
6. Remove the two rear spring front mounting plates from the chassis.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the rear spring front mounting plates to the chassis and install the two rear spring front mounting plate bolts.
NOTE: The two rear spring front mounting plates are marked INNER and OUTER. Ensure that the rear spring front mounting plates are installed on the correct side.
2. Install the two rear spring front mounting plate huts. Tighten the two rear spring front mounting plate nuts to 50-68 Nm (37-50 ft. lbs.).
3. if installing the right side rear spring front mounting plates, install the muffler resonator assembly.
4. If installing the left side rear spring front mounting plates, install the fuel tank.
5. Install the rear spring.
