Opening Back Window Latch

1. Raise the back window glass.







2. Loosen the two back window glass striker screws.







3. Loosen the two back window latch bolts.
4. Slowly lower the back window glass.

CAUTION: Be careful not to let the back window glass swing closed. The back window glass could break due to the back window glass striker and latch not being aligned correctly.

5. Align the back window glass striker and the latch.
6. Tighten the two back window latch striker screws to 3.8-4.5 Nm (34-40 Lb In).
7. Close the back window glass.
8. Adjust the back window latch so that the back window glass is flush with the liftgate.
9. Tighten the back window latch bolts to 3.8-4.5 Nm (34-40 Lb In).
