Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the electronic door lock control system.
2. Visually inspect the components of the electronic door lock control system.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Damaged door lock mechanisms
^ Stuck or binding door lock mechanisms

Electrical
^ Blown fuse(s):
- 7.5A S.E.C.
- 30A PWR WDW
- 10A ELECTRON
- 10A MIRROR
^ Damaged circuit breaker #1
^ Damaged connectors
^ Damaged keyless entry components
^ Damaged power lock actuators
^ Damaged door switches
^ Broken or loose wiring
^ Corroded or poor connections
3. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections, or damage.
4. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
