Rear

REMOVAL
1. Remove the roof headlining from the vehicle.
2. Remove the LH quarter trim panel or the RH quarter trim panel.







3. If servicing the LH rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose, if equipped, remove the six rear air conditioning and heating assembly center duct screws and the center duct from the rear air conditioning and heating assembly.
4. Remove the subwoofer.












5. Pull the lower end of the LH and RH rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose out of the drain hose plug grommet and attach mechanic's wire to the bottom of the rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose.
6. Remove the LH and RH rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose from the roof sliding panel housing.
7. Pull the LH and RH rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose from the vehicle, leaving enough mechanic's wire to install a new LH and RH rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose.

NOTE: When removing the LH and RH rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose be sure to leave the mechanic's wire fed through the body for the installation procedure.

8. Remove the mechanic's wire from the LH and RH rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose.

INSTALLATION
1. Attach the mechanic's wire to the rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose at the roof sliding panel housing.
2. Pull the rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose down through the body until it is in its original position.
3. Apply Weatherstrip Adhesive E8AZ-19552-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESB-M2G14-A and install the rear roof sliding panel frame drain hose to the roof sliding panel housing.
4. Install the subwoofer.
5. If equipped, position the center duct on the rear air conditioning and heating assembly. Install the six rear air conditioning and heating assembly center duct screws.
6. Install the RH quarter trim panel or the LH quarter trim panel.
7. Install the roof headlining.
