Lumbar Support System

The lumbar support system, like the power seat motors, operates regardless of the ignition switch position. If the lumbar support switch is moved back, the front seat back pad adjusting pump inflates the front seat back pad adjuster. A check valve in the lumbar system tubing holds air in the front seat back pad adjuster. When the lumbar support switch is moved forward, the check valve allows air to escape and deflates the front seat back pad adjuster.
