Cylinder Head Assembly

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
Cylinder Head Distortion-Maximum: 0.10 mm (0.004 inch)
Cylinder Head Height: 106.8-107.2 mm (4.205-4.220 inches)

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Tightening Sequence:

Tighten the new cylinder head bolts in the sequence shown as follows:
1. Tighten The Cylinder Head Bolts To 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
2. Tighten The Cylinder Head Bolts To 59 Nm (43 ft. lbs.)

Loosening Sequence:

3. Loosen all of the bolts completely using the loosening sequence shown.
4. Tighten The Cylinder Head Bolts To 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
5. Turn all cylinder head bolts 60 to 65 degrees clockwise

NOTE: If a torque angle wrench is not available
Tighten The Cylinder Head Bolts Between 54-64 Nm (40-47 ft. lbs.)

6. Tighten The Cylinder Head Bolt (A) to 9-12 Nm (80-104 in. lbs.)
