Oil Pressure Test

WARNING: BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN YOURSELF, AS THE ENGINE AND OIL MAY BE HOT.

1. Check the oil level.

NOTE: Oil pressure check should be done in the NEUTRAL (N) gear position.






2. Remove the oil pressure sensor.






3. Install Engine Oil Pressure Gauge T73L-6600-A.
4. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.






5. Check the oil pressure with the engine running under no-load.
If the difference is extreme, check the oil passage and oil pump for oil leaks.
6. Install the oil pressure sensor with sealant.
