Distributor Cap: Testing and Inspection

Wash both the inside and outside surfaces of the distributor cap with soap and water. Dry the distributor cap with compressed air. Inspect the distributor cap for cracks, broken carbon button, carbon tracks, and corrosion on the terminals. Replace the distributor cap if it is damaged.
