Temperature Sensor (Gauge): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the water temperature indicator sender unit electrical connector.
2. Use a deep-well socket to remove the water temperature indicator sender unit from the water hose connection.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten the water temperature indicator sender unit to 15-20 Nm (11-14 ft. lbs.).

Check the coolant level. Add coolant if necessary.
